today i made my first neocities site with home, gallery and dev log pages!

the gallery's empty right now but i just need to sort out what i'm uploading here and then get them all compressed down so that they can load quickly for visitors.

i am really liking the retro structure and feel of the site; it feels manageable and understandable, but also has potential to be transformed in future to other data formats or converted into a more modern website.

the website itself is in need of some simple assets that i'll cook up soon. right now my priorities are with a game jam themed around 'You Haunt the House' and i'm working on a top-down incremental(?) strategy game where you start with a small haunted shack and have to effectively spread your haunt across the entire town. sounds bizarre and that's because it is.

that's what i intend to do here; bizarre things.
